4  Chelsea become the seventh club to complete the League Championship and FA Cup double, winning the League on the final day and beating relegated Portsmouth in the FA Cup final after hitting the woodwork five times.

5  Chelsea win the FA Cup and then become the first London club to win the European Cup (on penalties).

The longest run of double winning seasons was six between 1981 and 1986.
