Everton won the FA Cup. This completed a remarkable sequence of relegation (in 1930), promotion (1931), League Championship (1932) and FA Cup (1933)
This was the first FA Cup final in which players wore numbered shirts. Everton wore 1 to 11, Manchester City had 12 to 22.
