History
Everton were set up at Anfield. After moving to their new stadium at Goodison Park, the people left behind at Anfield formed a new club: Liverpool. Their first appearance in the top division ended with relegation.
Sunderland became the first club to win a third Championship.
The FA Cup final was played at Crystal Palace (in London) between 1895 and 1914.
Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion met each other in their third FA Cup final. This was the first occasion this had happend.
