I think that if you score a goal in stopage time the referee should bring it to the Football Assoation and they should look at it or if there is a brawl the Footbal Assoations should look at it aswell. I think that the lower clubs like the Barnslys Charltons and the Wimblendons of this world playing against the likes of Liverpool Arsenil and Man United. I think that there are to many foreigners in the game and the youngsters will have no chance to get on the first team so they will give up and never play again.

Thank you for your football site.

I am trying to find information about Trevor Ford.  When I was a mere lad I remember that he was suspended sine die, but I never understood why.  Something to do with transfers, I recall.  I also remember a television report of his return to football ('He didn't score a goal, but he made one'), but am now intrigued to know what the suspension was about.

Do you have any information?

KryssTal Reply: No sorry - I'm only really interested in the clubs rather than individuals. Try some of the links on my pages or do a search on INFOSEEK.

Dear Kryss

My compliments on a very interesting web site.

You've asked for corrections: I believe Arsenal were elected to the 1st Division in 1919, not 1921 as stated. and you may like to update the number of years Arsenal have spent in the top flight.

I notice that you have rather limited links for Arsenal pages, and have only included the official page and 2 media pages. perhaps you'd like to consider adding some of the unofficial sites, which like yours I have found to be excellent, and in some ways better than the official or media-run sites.

KryssTal Reply: Thanks for the info.

The reson for my lack of links is because I was thinking of joining an Arsenal Web Ring to allow access to other Arsenal sites. As yet the ring organiser hasn't got it going properly.

Please do you know which was the first club to win the FA Cup with only 10 men?

Thanks for the info, I think that maybe it could be added to the list of FA Cup firsts.

KryssTal Reply: All I know is that Nottingham Forest (1959 - injury) and Manchester United (1985 - sending off) both won the FA Cup with 10 men. I don't know who was the first. Not that many players were sent off in a FA Cup final so 1959 could well be the first.

Just because I'm a sad git with nothing better to do, I have been looking for a simple list of all League clubs with their ground names (past and present). As yet I haven't found anything of this nature. Just a suggestion if you want to expand your site.

Very good site by the way. It's a pity Bristol City aren't mentioned anywhere... but soon we shall be!! Cheers.

KryssTal Reply: Thank you - I remember the two matches they played in the old First Division with my club (I went to both):

Arsenal 0 Bristol City 1
Bristol City 0 Arsenal 2

It's a good idea but one I have no research on at present. I'll see what I can do.

Hi,

Some interesting statistics on your site. I have loads of stats, but only some of it is on my webpage. Need to find the time to put the rest on.

By the way, do you know a site which has all the FA Cup results since 1872? At least from the quarterfinal stages. Searching the web has proved fruitless. Thanks.

My home page is at:
