Great website! Very informative.

However, it should be noted that your entry for ‘cash dispenser’ is incorrect. There were two types of invention for this item:

• The Luther Simjian invention was mechanical and installed in New York in 1939, but was removed after 6 months due to ineffectiveness.
• The successful, modern electronic ATM was invented in England by De La Rue and installed in 1967 for Barclays Bank in London.
