Hi Kryss, I liked very much your 1998 solar eclipse description. I was there too and it was much like you described it. My family and I drove from Caracas to witness the big event. Being my first total solar eclipse ever I could hardly hold back the tears during the 3:45 minutes of totality. I am now living in the US and patiently awating the 2017 one
