Cantonese is a Sino-Tibetan language spoken in Southern China, Hong Kong, UK and USA.
Many of these words are typically Chinese terms to the ears of English speakers even though Cantonese is not the dominant language of China. This is because many Cantonese speakers have migrated to the UK and USA.
Most of the terms are food related.
